I am an assistant professor at the Mathematical Institute of Charles University.

My research is centered on convex geometry, in particular
 - isoperimetric-type and other geometric inequalities,
 - stochastic and integral geometry, kinematic formulas.

These two areas have origins in such famous questions of
antiquity as Dido's problem and Buffon's needle problem.

I am especially interested in the interplay between them,
where algebraic theory of valuations plays the key role.

I am hiring a PhD student. More info here.
