HIGH SPEED FLOW FOR NACA0012 PROFILE
We present the inviscid high speed flow around
NACA 0012 profile.
We suppose the inlet Mach number 2.0 where the strong shock waves are
presented. To solve the Euler equations we apply discretization by triangular
vinite volumes. The anisotropic mesh adaptation
was used for the mesh generation.
The mesh adaptation was applied four times and the following table presents
the successive results: isolines of Mach number and the corresponding meshes.
The mesh refinement and mesh aligment along
shock waves are observed. After last level af the mesh adaptation the
shock waves are very sharp.
